Level C-966是C层级的第966层。

描述

Level C-966是一片雪地，常年温度都维持在零下37~24摄氏度左右，且因为本层级的特性所致，流浪者来到此层级时必须穿着由用Level 0的地毯制作而成的防冻服才可以在Level C-966活动。Level C-966的地面有许多雪和冰柱，但是因为这些雪并不足以支撑流浪者在上面踩踏，所以流浪者只能在冰柱上移动。在该层级偶会出现向下延伸的通道，通过通道，流浪者可以进入地下矿道。Level C-966中，流浪者通常会在远处看见一片针树林，但因未知原因，流浪者在距离针树林100多米处时，针树林会突然出现在更远处，导致流浪者无法到达该地带。

该层级中有概率会出现木屋，这些房屋的风格类似于前厅19世纪的美国木屋。木屋通常是单独出现的，但也有极小的概率出现由十几座或几座木屋组成的大型村落。¹木屋里一般有一些杏仁水，由羊毛织成的棉被和篝火，但因为单独的木屋会随机变换位置，所以我们并不建议流浪者把木屋当做长期住所或物资存放地。

由于Level C-966的特殊性质，当两个以上的流浪者待在一起时，流浪者的体温将会升高，并且温度会因附近人数的增减而变化，而在体温升高时，身体健康的流浪者将会在此过程中感到愉快，相反，如果患有疾病的流浪者则会感到十分的难受和厌恶，甚至因此攻击附近的流浪者。²

在Level C-966有概率会产生暴风雪，使流浪者的体温迅速下降至34度以下，如果流浪者在此时不尽快前往地下矿道或木屋躲避暴风雪。流浪者大概率将会因体温过低冻死或者被雪蒙住眼睛后掉进只有在暴风雪区域才会出现的峡谷后坠入虚空。

地下矿道

地下矿道位于距离地面21米的地下，大部分地方由木板支撑，有少量的悲尸在地下矿道中活动。在地下矿道中散布着许多的补给箱，补给箱里通常都会有物资，以下是补给箱里会出现的物资和概率：

地下矿道中装有火把或者灯泡照明，但却无法找到这些照明设施的能量来源³。在地下矿道的两边有几率会出现由铁制造的管道或者铁轨，管道里会流出淡水，但含有大量细菌，就算煮沸后M.E.G.也并不推荐饮用。

地下矿道的墙壁材质为混凝土，但却异常脆弱，只要流浪者手持尖锐物稍微用力便可捅破。但由于地下矿道的混凝土墙被破坏后可能会导致矿道坍塌，造成人员伤亡和财产损失，所以M.E.G.下令禁止流浪者随意破坏地下的混凝土墙。
