Level C-57，后室C层群的第57层。一具有强烈危害性的层级。

描述：

关于本层级的描述极其困难：这是由于流浪者在该层级恢复清醒时，均已失去视力；加之该层级似乎具有任何非生物探测器均无法切入的性质，因此，视觉描述的可能性几乎不存在。

切入该层级的流浪者总是昏迷的。意识模糊之间，少量流浪者报道了有类似年轻女孩模糊不清的嘟囔声与机械结构的运动声。在醒来后，流浪者无一例外的发现自己丧失视力，并且感受到大量血液自眼眶流出。幸存者经检查后被发现眼球被粗暴摘除。失去视觉的流浪者们在摸索中得出了数个结论：层级大小似乎较为局限。分为一主要房间，即流浪者苏醒处，与数个较小的房间。该层级的墙体，地面均为某种已经略有锈蚀的金属，并散发着高温。一些角落和边缘处似有桌子或操作台，上面除却一些功能不明的拉杆与按键外，还有相当数量触感滑腻的生物质部分，这些部分呈小球状，并规律的分布在平面的某一角落，一般为左上角。在墙体的一些部分上有着高于两米以上的大型的，触感类似老式计算机的显示屏，不时的发出滋滋的电流声。层级墙面上有数个窗户，其中一扇打开，将手探出，流浪者触摸到了一些已经冰冷而僵硬的肢体，似为人尸。

在其中一间小房间内触摸到了有类似床，桌子，化妆台，毛绒玩具等似为起居用品的物品。但我们极不建议流浪者在此休息。该房间的墙体有着类似人皮的触感，其上可触摸到密集而无规律的，上文所述的滑腻球形生物质。少量，触感冰凉的肢体自天花板上或是某些角落里长出，约有20条左右，包含了人的上臂，腿以及一些难以描述的残缺肢体。一例报告称触摸到在床头有类似失去双眼的人类面孔的存在。除上述房间外，该层级的其它房间似乎均为空置，不能明晰其意义。值得注意的是，暂未有任何流浪者在其中发现止血用的纱布与处理伤口所需的医学酒精。

在摸索中，流浪者感到轻微的失重感；听到机器发出的嗡鸣声与来源未知的，如肉泥被机械装置搅拌的声音；并嗅到空气十分炎热，污浊且带着浓重的尸臭味与土腥味，难以呼吸。目前尚不能明晰该气味来源。根据推测，该层级环境似处于地下深处的某一探测器内，因此，如门等常规意义的出口被认为是无效的。

• 该层级的入口并无固定的入口，不过在相当多的室内层级中，若是发现并阅读一篇现实中本不存在的，关于前厅中前苏联“地心计划”末期时的一起“盲人女孩坠入科拉钻孔”¹的新闻报道便会使流浪者来到该层级。

出口

• 离开该层级的方式并不固定，一些流浪者在歇斯底里的试图“扣下桌面上的眼球放回自己眼中”时被强制切回了来时之地，另一些则在昏死后出现在人类聚居地中。诺贴等常规手段亦是行之有效的。我们强烈建议流浪者在意识到自己处于这一层级后选择最快的方式切出，以免眼眶失血过多导致死亡。
